PumpBi server is back online

Since the release of the last version of pumpbi (17/10/08) the server has been down. The server is back online for a day or so for the time being. If you waited long time for uploading your data and weren’t able to do so, NOW it is time to do it because who knows for how long the server will be working.

Some more info about the game

The songlist consists of 101 songs.
The difficulty range is 1 to 25.
Operator is choosing the difficulties (and their number 1 to 3), speed mods are chosen automatically based on the difficulty
After setting the difficulties you can enter options menu
Speed modifiers’ range is from 0.5x to 8x
Perspective - you can change the angle of the perspective. the angles’ range is from -60dgrs to 60dgrs
Reverse - you can also play on reverse a la Guitar Hero ^_^
Size of arrows - if the notes are too big for you, you can scale them down
Spin - you can make spin the arrows in all three axes….(looks nice with some nice angle perspective)
Mine Areas - watch out….seems like “mine roll”

We always thought that there are no PIU machines in Japan and that never a pump machine would be placed in any Japanese arcades. But beware! In Tokyo Japanese people have the chance to try out the NX2 machines.

What news it brings?

New modes:

Brain Shower:

There are three different modes in this one.
Calculation - where the player is forced to do simple math operations and input the result via the dance platform.
Observation and Memory- you will be shown a certain pattern and you have to input it. In one of those modes it won’t be just arrow patterns but also whatever icons/symbols andamiro came up with (angels, devils, dogs, other weird characters or animals etc)

Rock Revolution DS released

KONAMI released Rock Revolution for Nintendo DS. It reminds me of beat’n'groovy… why is everything so pro-western? It does not look good.
